THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS WISHLIST

My yet again very monochrome heavy wishlist, oh and also Free People heavy today too!! This is my ultimate Christmas present pile that I would ever wish for Santa to bring me on the big day! I'l start by saying, can we all just take a moment to appreciate this Free People leather jacket... covered in studs... Can it be more perfect?! I shouldn't have really gone to town on their website, because in all honesty, jack has had an earful about how I would love this and how this might go nice with my boots I bought last week, (hint hint)! No but seriously... I'm sure were all looking forward to waking up to our pretty wrapped presents and neatly tied gift bags, until were let loose and the all paper and rubbish gets thrown everywhere, along with the shells off the brussel spouts mom is peeling.

I wasn't hoping to find anything I really wanted on the Zara site, as I have recently got my perfect winter wardrobe, then oh I stumbled across the 'new this week' section. dun dun dunnn. These flat studded points are uhmazing! But so are all of these items, I think this is the most I have wanted everything on my wishlists... ever!! My eyes are flitting between all of these shoes thinking uh those, oh no but those, eurgh but thoseeeeeee!

Anyway, I best dash, I can hear ACDC playing extremely loud outside which is my queue to go and start the cooking for the boy and open the Friday night beers! Happy last weekend before Christmas guys and gallys!

This post took a little longer to upload than usual because of my silly laptop mixed with photograph pixel and resolution issues (blogger problems)! Although the suns been out the past few days, it has been rather chilly, but then again its very are I am not cold. A coat or jacket was probably essential for most of us out there still, am i right!? (although we all have those leather jacket hot flushes). This one I picked up from the sample sale whilst in London whilst helping the girls out at their office... and boy I don't regret it! I didn't realise how nice it was till I put it on again! Finally blogging my plaid slip ons too, which are still available in Toppers, along with all the other beautiful snake skin, leopard skin an who knows what other skin effect!
The best thing that has happened over the past few days is my boyfriend and I have upgraded our sky (LONG overdue) to HD on demand... yes I'm that much of a tele film freak, and I'm counting down the days until I can watch whichever rom com, horror or episode of supernatural I want whenever I want again! (I only have this luxury at my parents you see).

From slouchy singleton to glamorous girl about town, everybody has there own wishlist every valentines... NOW I know a lot of people can't bare the thought of valentines and all the sloppy messages and Facebook status' that come along with it; even think its a big waste of time... But hey even if you haven't got that one perfect (or annoying) person to scoff Chinese with on Friday, go out with the girls, grab a pizza, go watch Brad Pitts new film! Enjoy it! The past few valentines I have spent with my friends, and we booked a meal and savaged a 10 oz rump steak each and some red wine... when we walked in, there was even heart shaped chocolate and red confetti to accompany us on the table. I can hope that this Friday is just as good! So here are my key items for this month, and items that i'd love to get my hands on for valentines or even recieve ... (cheeky). A silk slip night like dress is also on my list that I haven't included, there's just too many! 

The Fleur of England Lace Bralettes are so amazing, every day I wish I could wake up and put one on, so delicate and girly! Topshop and other high street stores are selling similar ones for a slightly lesser price, and offering other colours, even red, so I'd definitely say this is number one on my wishlist right now!!

MISSGUIDED LEATHER JOGGER PANTS

Kanye West sports them so why can't us girls ehy?! These beauty's are a killer statement with any top jacket blazer etc. When i got my student loan these are the first item i purchased, but can you blame me? I saw a few snaps of them at LFW a few weeks ago and fell completely in love, just right for those lazy days where you want to look good, but maybe just want to put something comfy on too. These jogger pants actually go really well styled with holographic strappy sandal heels which can be brought from boohoo, and a silk cami top which are pretty much available everywhere! (An outfit of mine from a few nights ago).

 I was after a new coat for a while, one that would serve me right in the cold but that was also light weight. River Island have done the perfect combination in this tailored white, slightly masculine line version. The zips and lapels give it that biker chick edge too. It's a pain to keep clean but it is worth the sacrifice when something looks this good with any outfit. Grab yours here! 

I wish i could wear this outfit everywhere, even on holiday, but that would be silly. Speaking of holidays, I am in the process of looking for somewhere nice to go. However having a birthday on boxing day proves difficult to get time off from anything, yawn! Now i'm off to my friends after a long day at work, completing a street style interview for university and blogging.. to eat as much pizza, drink as much wine, and watch as many awesome films as we can!

BEADED CHARITY SHOP GOODNESS AND LEATHER H&M

Blazer - Charity Shop / Skirt - H&M / Bracelets - Mostly Boyfriends Inherited 

There hasn't been many white blazers knocking around lately that have the oversized look, yes ok, fitted ones that resemble tux's.. which i actually have, but i wanted one that had more detailing on it that was appropriate for both seasons and a variety of different occasions. So when i found this one i bounced on it! It was originally part of a skirt suit however i just brought the jacket as i didn't want the skirt, although now i kinda regret it! The detailing on the front, back and shoulders of this is exquisite, capturing both elegance and something a bit different. It's a slightly off colour white which i suppose is better than bright white for this because it will be easier to maintain the colour of the garment. 

Skirts are still being carried in to the autumn winter styles as we've seen in stores and online with companies new a/w lines. Of course  and especially... leather! I actually brought this skirt last year however they are around everywhere this season so it'll be easy enough to pick yourself one up!! Its a nice hard soft contrast with the blazer, both the style and the colour of them. 

In my opinion, sometimes, you can't beat a bit of sterling silver, and these bracelets all bundled together are perfect to create either a rocky look or a boho vibe with longer flowy outfits. My green one is the favourite out of the bunch. My mom wants to steal the rest off me ... naughty!

BRINGING PLAIDY BACK

It's been pretty damn cold lately hasn't it, so iv'e been wearing my leather pants a lot again. I forgot i even had them but i dug them out and now they're perf for this weather. AND ITS BEANIE WEATHER AGAIN YAY! You can't beat a good ol' beanie, and this one is my fave by Carharrt, always selling these plain ones, i cut the bobble off this one though because the shape is slightly taller on them. (oops). 

My plaid shirt is from Cow Vintage, they have an unbelievable range of plaid shirts that are pre loved or new for their line, so go check them out, and they last forrreverrr, and for all seasons!! My coltrane boots are must with everything i wear lately as i mentioned before. They're glued to my feet, bit obsessive really.

I've been working a lot this week as i have a new job and i love it there so getting time to blog is extra special now, and im going back to university next week (excite!). I'l probably rock this ootd a lot to lectures or town when i'm going to spend my first wages or .. dun dun dunnnnnn Student Loan!!

Harley Davidson Weekend

I thought i'd do a something a little different being as this leather vest i brought is fab! I brought it a while ago from SaltwaterGypsy. YES they do other amazing things apart from gorgeous kimonos!!!! And this weekend i have been to a bike festival / show with my boyfriend and his uncle. Both Harley fanatics. What better to feature this weekend than this vest??

When it first arrived i was so shocked it was better than i expected, the detail down the side and the fit of the vest was perfect! I usually team the waistcoat with a pretty flowy little dress because it adds a grunge edge to something quite girly, (always) but i decided to pair it up with baggy boyfriend jeans from New Look, bargain find at just 15 squids! Obviously going to whack on my favourite platform boots from Toppy too.

What girl doesn't love a bit of red lippy too, got some beaut stuff from MAC over the weekend when i got a break from digging out in a field with hairy bikers! So get purchasing gallys! 

Tonight is rest and eat night, after a long 2 days of whiplash from this bloomin weather!
