Sorry about the absence from the blog posts my darlings! I've been to Wales to visit my sister. The Abergavenny Food Festival to be precise, and being a massive foodie... it was amazing! So I pestered Jack for these boots for quite a while and eventually he gave in and ordered me them... Thank you Jack you're the best! *insert angel face here* ! They are the perfect shoe for Autumn! ... See and read more below!

BASIC. CULOTTES

Posted on 01/09/2014

So it's been over 2 months now since I had the little one and I'm just about ready to start blogging again. I've sprinkled my blog with a little this and that, and given it an overhaul.. it definitely needed it! On top of being back at uni in 3 weeks, this is a kind of an escape for me now! I know I know, culottes, they're everywherright!? Well when Missguided had these bargain pair for just £12.99, obviously I couldn't not get my card out!

MOTELROCKS LILAH JUMPSUIT

Jumpsuit - Motel Rocks / Hat - Topshop

Despite looking like a blonde tea pot in the first photo, I loved blogging this, because I don't get to wear it all too much. I've been thinking, being as all of my posts are petty much indoor ones, they're slightly blurry, I'm going to do some posts outside when it stops raining and hope for the best! I know what your wondering, why hasn't she got any shoes on? Well my friends, I just didn't put any on. Although it hurt on this floor!! This jumpsuit, although very 'not subtle' is the perfect ootd for actually any occasion, I went to town like this and only managed to collect a handful of looks .. (obviously thinking where did she get that awesome suit!?) Now I just need the pink one!

Today
Go on a long walk up the chase with the doggies
Restock on black jeans and leggings
Bake rock cakes and flapjacks for mommy and daddy

UPDATING THE OLD DRESSES

Posted on 20/10/2013

Dress - Topshop (old) / Bag - Accessorize / Boots - Topshop / Bracelets - Ebay and h&m

This dress is ridiculously old, but you know you can always style the same kinda outfit the same anyways :) I was going through my wardrobe as it definitely needs sorting out, i have so much in there its a joke, a lot of it is years old too and there is no chance of me wearing any of the pieces or fitting in to them!!!

This is my favouriteeee bag ever! My dad brought it me about 3 years ago but accessorize always have beaded embroidered little bags like this perfect for slouching over your shoulder to give a pop to any outfit! Its also in good shape still, which is surprising because i bulk it out stupidly when I'm getting ready at a friends. I have been home this weekend, again, planning things for my paps birthday and shopping again, brought some super black shoes from River Island in the sale. And i'm a size 4 so i get all the good picks.. (i fit in to a size 3 in the pair i brought....) It's been noticed that my feet are shrinking over the years, anyway its Monday tomorrow i know how you all feel.

RIVER ISLAND TARTAN MEETS H&M FUR

Posted on 30/09/2013

Trousers - River Island / Gillet - H&M / Necklace - Primark / Boots - Topshop

First off, apologies for being absent the past week, I've been so busy my heads nearly fell off! ...
I thought i would treat myself to something new being as I've been a busy girl all month, so i brought these absolutely faaaabulous trousers from River Island. I wanted some tartan pants for some time now since becoming a key trend this a/w, and couldn't quite find the right pair... low and behold i walked in to RI after work and these were right in front of me. I think they give a slight twist on the new tartan trend, as they are not quite the typical colours/pattern. Being high waist and getting a free belt was just a bloomin' bonus!

I do pair these with a leather jacket or black blazer sometimes and my hard edge vintage army boots or coltrane boots. This h&m fur gillet came about the exact same way as my trousers... on my lunch break. I need to stop going wondering and stay in the staff room! BUT the one i last brought has been slightly ruined in the terrible weather we had last winter, so a new one was in order. This beautiful garment looks great with anything, leather trousers and a black jumper underneath to create a classy outfit is one of my favourites, but it also looks great with patterned or ripped jeans, my white tailored pants style quite well with it also.

The fedora hat is a key item this season with every high street store selling their version, and again goes with any outfit bringing it bang up to trend. My dad gave me his old vintage real gold watch a few years ago so i wore it to coincide with the gold on my belt and the necklace was a steal from Primark at £4!

COLTRANE BOOTS AND FRENCH CONNECTION FUR

Posted on 13/09/2013

Shirt - New Look / Skirt - Primark / Boots - River Island / Hat - Topshop / Coat - French Connection / Necklaces - Inherited and made by me

So im really lucky that my boyfriends house has a cellar, and also very lucky for me is that when he was younger he decided to write on the walls, creating the perfect place for blog photos, i think this is going to be my favourite place for them.

I finally got some coltrane boots!! Yaaaay for meeeeee. After looking in every single new look around for the bargain coltranes, i found them in River Island and my papa treated me to them being as I've been poorly. Ahh i do I love him :) Since i got them I've not taken them off, even for work!! I paired my bell bottom sleeve shirt with my bargain slash maxi skirt from Primark, they do them in every single colour possible... literally! Obviously i get black, it goes with everything! To create this bohemian look i added my fedora hat from toppy.

My French Connection faux fur coat is my favourite thing in my wardrobe. Although i'm too scared to wear it in case i ruin it, it does go with everything i own. Even if i want to bang my boyfriend jeans and some strappy sandals on. I know i look a little Van Helsing but hey ho i love it!? (Film nerd). Yet again homemade jewels once i had raided the boyfriends old jewellery box he inherited.

Angel of the South... (bell bottom lace crochet all things pretty worded sleeve dress)

Posted on 25/08/2013

Dress - Asos (old) / Hat and Shoes - Topshop

First things first, i do not know what the yellow thing is next to the pot, apologies.. haha! ... THIS, is one hell of a dress right? It's one of my all time faves. I got it from Asos last year, sorry peeps :( although i have had a mooch and there are some similar designs on there so get looking!!! I brought it originally for a birthday and it was massive, and i didn't wear it until the other day when i was going through my wardrobe, and now it fits like a glove... so my guess is my sister has had a cheeky borrow and then shrunk it in the wash...

Anyway, it features lace crochet sleeves that flare out at the end, kind of like bell bottom sleeves, and remind me of the crochet place mats you used to get at your nans! Or is that just me? They're a great contrast to the silk and chiffon body and the cut out in the back. Obviously styled with black... its all i ever wear.

Happy bank holiday lovlies... Elysia

Velvet Obsession

Cover Up - Charity shop / Shorts - New Look (old) / Belt, Shoes and Hat - Topshop /
Necklace - Primark

I've been slacking at blogging lately, its been difficult to try to find a day where i'm not going to get soaked in all my new lovely clothes! So i apologise guys! It will be WAY more regular now! :)

I went on a charity shop haul the other day and one thing i literally grabbed as soon as i laid eyes on it from a few meters away was this magical purple velvet cover up. Its a little large, but that's the way i like them. It so perfect for this time of year too, end of summer taking me into the autumn. It came with shoulder pads initially and all i did was take them out carefully and it fit like a dream afterwards!

Ive paired it with some little denim shorts and a black crop, simple but effective, or less is more, whatever you want to call it. I added my jewellery, the cuff is from eBay and obviously (the not boring yet) grunge boots from topshop to create a whole bohemian bad girl outfit. Pretty much perfect for ANY festival too, my sisters has buggered off to V this morning and to be fair i wish i was going, because this would be my ideal outfit! Maybe with wellies though, its a tad wet.

This belt is my absolute fave too, i wear it with pretty much everything that requires a belt, i picked it up from topshop about a month ago and been obsessed every since.

Little tip, add a fedora hat to any outfit and bam, you've got bohemian. I love mine!

So while my sister and everybody else is there today, im going to nip in the garden and do some more blogging in some of my new pieces from the charity shop haul i did in the week, some great stuff!!
